An evolution of the Fornix, the POC Fornix BC (BackCountry) ski helmet is dedicated to off-piste skiing , with foolproof protection.

Combining a PC shell and EPS liner that provides strength, durability and impact protection while maintaining minimal weight , this version also features aramid bridges that reinforce the helmet's structural strength and improve puncture protection. Ideal for protecting against the consequences of a fall on rocks.

This helmet offers adaptable protection for a wide variety of skiing and snowboarding styles thanks to its Mips Evolve reinforcement promoting protection against rotational impacts.

The Fornix BC also features a RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector to help rescue services locate you more quickly in the event of a problem, as well as a twICEme® NFC Medical ID chip that allows the helmet to speak for you when you can't: your medical profile can be stored on a chip inside the helmet, readable by first responders simply by bringing their device close to it.

Ventilation is fully adjustable for increased comfort in various weather conditions while the 360° adjustment system makes it easy to find a comfortable and secure fit without the need to modify the padding.
