The new Alpinist Free 13 binding from MARKER , with a DIN value of 6.0 to 13, weighs only 395 g including brake and offers significantly improved power transmission and skiing performance thanks to its new, enlarged base area.
The Alpinist Free binding is the ideal choice when every gram counts on long climbs followed by unforgettable freeride descents. Like its predecessor, it is equipped, in addition to the Alpinist heel piece , with an ultra-rigid carbon-reinforced ISI toe piece , whose widened platform allows for simplified and intuitive entry.
The clever kinematics of the locking lever allow the inserts to be engaged with very little effort. The Alpinist heel piece offers an adjustment range of 35 mm as well as three heights of the climbing cleat: 0°, 5° and 9° .
The Alpinist Free's wide drilling pattern also contributes to excellent power transmission to the edges, while its design allows for active length compensation, without compromising the ski's flex.
The Alpinist Free is made with sustainable materials, such as recycled or bio-based plastics.
