Rab x Low Alpine Khroma 30 Ski/Mountaineering Backpack Gray

Developed in collaboration with Lowe Alpine , the RAB Khroma 30 ski/mountaineering backpack was designed to push the limits.

Made from very durable Cordura nylon material and reinforced with Spectra® fibers fifteen times stronger than steel for their weight, this ski touring backpack is incredibly durable. It also benefits from a HydroShield water-resistant finish. The result is a bag that is highly resistant to bad weather, abrasion and tears.

With its X-Shield carrying system which keeps the bag close to the back, the Khroma offers great freedom of movement both up and down, and absolute stability during the most technical descents. This carrying system is completed by a wide, padded belt that is as reliable as it is comfortable, which has a gear loop on the side and a large pocket on the other, ideal for storing snacks, a GPS or a compass.

Very practical, this compact and refined bag has an opening through the back panel for quick access to all your equipment, and thus simplifies transitions from skins to crampons and skis. The detachable helmet holder allows you to carry your helmet outside the bag for more storage space inside. All zippers have been designed with pulls that are easily manipulated with mittens for quick access to your gear. The Khroma also incorporates a quick access pocket for avalanche rescue equipment.
