A very high-end model, the RAB Ionosphere 5 inflatable mattress is intended for demanding users looking for the lightest possible solution without sacrificing comfort.
Ultralight and compact, it nevertheless provides excellent insulation ( R-Value of 4.8 ), notably thanks to TILT technology, a reflective film placed within the insulation reducing heat loss by radiation. Plus , 100% recycled Stratus™ R insulation traps air to reduce heat loss through convection , ensuring you're recharged to be fit the next day even if temperatures are freezing.
The tapered mummy shape saves weight to keep the size of the sleeping bag as small as possible. The XXL outer compartments ensure you stay snug in the center of the mattress while you sleep, and the soft-finish fabric (100% recycled) features a non-slip print to prevent the sleeping bag from sliding around during the night. It inflates and deflates quickly and easily thanks to the discreet two-way valve and pump bag.
With a length of 183 cm in this Regular version suitable for sizes up to approximately 1m80, it has a generous thickness of 8 cm allowing it to cope with all types of terrain.
