The VAUDE Asymmetric 42+8 trekking backpack for men is a versatile model designed for hut-to-hut tours, alpine trekking, pilgrimage and backpacking .
Its 42 liters combined with comfortable carrying make it a popular companion. Even with heavy loads, the carrying system ensures high comfort. The back length and load spring can be adjusted to suit body size, and the recess in the lower back relieves the sacroiliac joint.
This carrying system is completed by adjustable straps allowing the arms great freedom of movement and distributing the weight optimally, just like the padded waist belt.
The spacious main compartment of the Asymmetric 42+8 offers access from the top and the front : no more fumbling around to find your belongings. The hood with internal compartment is height-adjustable , saving you 8 liters of storage space. The elastic front compartment can hold anything you need to keep close at hand. Wet clothes can also dry here thanks to the optimized ventilation of the front compartment. The elastic side pockets for a water bottle, camera, or fruit bar allow access without putting the bag down.
This bag also features a number of accessories , such as a gear strap for securing an ice axe and poles, while crampons and other gear can be attached to the daisy chain. Two straps on each side and a strap under the hood help compress the bag. The top strap has a spare buckle.
Finally, like most of the brand's products, the Asymmetric 42+8 displays a high level of eco-responsibility. It is mainly made from recycled materials and has the VAUDE Green Shape label, guaranteeing an ecological and functional product made from sustainable bluesign® certified materials.
