Statut obtained by VOLKL at the Muule barometer
An ultra-light carbon model, the VÖLKL Rise 88 High touring ski will delight experienced skiers who do not wish to compromise between lightness, glide, maneuverability and performance.
Despite its weight of only 1,065 g (in 170 cm), this ski is also designed to withstand the heavy stresses experienced during particularly demanding long-distance high mountain hikes, and is therefore ideal for experienced alpine skiers.
This ski combines beech wood under the binding and poplar and paulownia wood in the outer area, giving a construction with a very light wooden core, particularly suitable for ski touring. The upper carbon coating improves rigidity. torsional and longitudinal stability.
These skis can be completed with the Marker Cruise10 , Marker Cruise12 (with ski stops) or Marker Alpinist 10 (without ski stops) bindings.
ROCKERS AND CAMBERS :
CONSTRUCTION :
Sole : P-Tex 2100: High-density, high-molecular-weight sintered polyethylene sole provides high strength and exceptional slip.
Smart Skinclip system : new design allows the hiker to decide freely, depending on the situation, in which direction to insert or remove the seal skin. A standard carabiner placed on the tail of the ski allows you to attach and detach the seal skin from the rear. However, the skin can also be quickly put on and taken off from the front. This new flexibility is possible thanks to an elastic carabiner, easy to grip even with gloves. A slight depression on the ski tip gives the carabiner lateral guidance and prevents accidental release of the sealskin when walking.
