A top-of-the-range model from the Obex family, the POC Obex BC Mips helmet is a model particularly dedicated to ski touring with features, both in terms of comfort and safety.
This helmet offers protection adaptable to a wide variety of skiing and snowboarding styles thanks to its Mips reinforcement promoting protection against rotating impacts. Composed of an EPS liner, a PC shell and an ABS upper shell thicker than that of the Obex Mips, the Obex BC also has aramid panels improving the structural resistance of the helmet and reinforcing protection against penetrations. The result is increased safety and greater durability.
Additionally, the helmet is equipped with an NFC medical identification chip that allows rescuers to access vital medical information at the scene of an injury, helping them make the best decisions. A RECCO® reflector also improves search possibilities.
The adjustment system inside covers the circumference of the head , making it easy to find a secure and comfortable fit without having to change pads.
Sliding vent covers allow ventilation to be easily adjusted for maximum comfort in all weather conditions, while the addition of integrated vents to the front of the helmet allow air to be vented from the mask, thus avoiding the formation of fogging.
